General Studies Major at Indiana University with Linguistics Minor, focusing on Ancient and Modern Languages. GPA: 3.57. Graduating May 2009. Will begin Masters in Comparative Indo-European Linguistics at Leiden University in The Netherlands in September 2009.
Experience
I was the Foreign Language Coordinator and International Student Advisor at a small private school where I taught for five years. Subjects included a variety of foreign languages and ESL, Basic Linguistics, Geometry and Algebra, Reading and Writing Skills, SAT Prep, Organizational Skills, and other subjects. I have done private tutoring on various subjects for some years as well. My SAT scores were 690 in Verbal and 640 in Math. I enjoy teaching and working with students of all ages and ability levels. I have a great passion for learning, especially languages, and love to help others get excited about learning too. I have had some formal study in thirteen different languages.

Hobbies
I love to read in my spare time, particularly books on linguistics. My pet project is researching Mycenaean and the Linear A and Linear B writing systems in order to perhaps make prograss on the decipherment of Linear A. I also like knitting and watching movies and I am teaching myself to cook.
