During high school I was part of a tutoring program similar to this one. We picked subjects we were very proficient in and then were assigned students. Personally, every single one of my pupils improved their subjects showing an average of one whole letter grade improvement. I want to be a tutor because I think a lot of teachers only appeal to one particular learning style instead of trying different methods to make sure students understand the material. I incorporate different ways of teaching and explaining to help students understand the lessons. I have taken classes in each of the subjects I listed earning at either B's or A's in each subject.
